Join us at Cowork Waldo on Thursday, August 20, for our Founding Moms’ Exchange: Kansas City Meetup. This month’s informative presentation features Social Media Marketing Tips with special guest Emily Hawkins. Emily is Social Marketing Manager for Great Plains SPCA, and is also a member of the Social Media Club of Kansas City.

Emily will talk to us about how to get the best engagement with your social media, how to increase reach, how to create fun promotions on social media and which tools help you make it easier to do all of these things. We can’t wait to hear her talk about the April Fool’s Day promotion: “Staff out Sick. Pets In Charge.”! She is a Nebraska native, moving to the Kansas City Metro in 2002 to attend MidAmerica Nazarene University, where she majored in Mass Communications. After joining the workforce for several years, Emily felt the tug of school pulling her back to obtain her Masters Degree in Communication from the University of Central Missouri. Prior to Great Plains SPCA, she was most recently eCommunications Development Specialist at The Salvation Army of Kansas & Western Missouri.

For more information, or to register for this exciting presentation, please see our the Founding Moms’ Exchange: Kansas City Meetup Page OR the Facebook Event page.

Once a month, Cowork Waldo hosts The Founding Moms’ Exchange: Kansas City Meetup, featuring a guest speaker discussing topics relevant to Kansas City’s female business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Save the date for our next Meetup on Friday, September 25th.
